Richard Daniell

Richard Daniell, Managing Director

30 +years in the Construction Industry and an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Richard started with Wrens in 2000 as Contracts Manager and became the Managing Director in 2005. Richard has a 14 golf handicap, but age and time is catching up with him, his other outside work interests include family, classic cars and rugby

Brian Black

Brian Black, Contracts Manager

30 +years in the Construction Industry and an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Brian started with Wrens in 2005 and in his role he oversees the Commercial Contracting Divisions. Brian could be a very good golfer, a big hitter of the ball who’s short game could do with some work, his other outside work interests include family, hunting, fishing and rugby

Mark Power

Mark Power, Commercial Projects Estimator

20 + years in the Painting Decorating Industry including 16 years as a Technical Rep for Resene Paints. Mark started with Wrens in 2007 and specialises in Commercial Projects estimating and negotiating. It’s probably just as well Mark has a job because golf isn’t his forte, his other outside work interests include family, rugby and boating in the Waitaki Lakes District
Tyler Ellis

Tyler Ellis, Residential Project Estimator

10 years in the Painting & Decorating Industry. Tyler started a Painting & Decorating apprenticeship with Wrens upon leaving school and moved into the office in 2010 where he specialises in quoting and negotiating our Residential Projects. Tyler has golf in his blood and was once a near scratch golfer, then he met a girl, his other outside work interests include family, rugby and The Warriors
Karen McEwan

Karen McEwan, Office Manager/ Facilitator

Started with Wrens in 2004 Karen ensures the smooth running of the office. Prior to working at Wrens Karen worked in the family business. Karen’s outside work interests don’t include golf but she loves helping to raise her grandchildren, travel and a glass of wine every now and then.

Shelley Conlon

Shelley Conlon, Office Administration

Shelley started with Wrens in 2007 upon returning to NZ from Australia. Shelley is our debtors/ creditors clerk and contract administrator. Shelley hates golf but enjoys family, travel and lazing in the spa with a good book on Kindle.
Blair Mitchell

Blair Mitchell, Contract Supervisor

25 years in The Painting & Decorating Industry, Blair started with Wrens as an apprentice painter and decorator and advanced to become Contracts Supervisor in 1999. Blair heads up our Dunedin and South Otago Painting Division. Blair has a good all round golf game, his shots go all round the place, his other outside interests include family, rugby and boating on Lake Wanaka

Richard Watt, Contract Supervisor

25 years in Plastering & Tiling Industry, a trade qualified Plasterer & Tiler Richard started with Wrens as the Plastering & Tiling Divisions Contracts Supervisor in 2007. Richard is NOT a golfer thankfully, his outside interests include family, mountain biking and Cross Fit training
